Description

Having practically disappeared from Alsatian vineyards, Chasselas vines, with their white or red grapes, are making a comeback, producing a sober and balanced wine.

Terroir

This Chasselas comes from a sandy-granitic terroir. The vines are located on the plain and mid-slopes.

Pairing

Chasselas goes very well with a cold starter, a seafood platter, a country meal or a winegrower’s pie.

Service

Serve cold, between 4 and 8°C

From 2 to 4 years

Vinification

The grapes are picked by hand, then pressed in a pneumatic press. Traditional fermentation under temperature control.
