Description
This Riesling has a beautiful minerality due to its exceptional terroir.
Terroir
Planted below the medieval ruins of the Ortenbourg, with a south-east exposure. Therefore, they get a constant amount of sunshine.
The entire surface of the soil is composed of granite, which enables the vines to retain their natural heat at night.
In this way the grapes are in ideal conditions throughout the summer.
Pairing
This dry Riesling is a “Must have” for this grape variety, and will happily accompany the best cuisine: fish, shellfish, white meats, sushi, etc…

Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand, then pressed whole in a pneumatic press. Traditional fermentation under temperature control.
