Description

Terroir

This Pinot Noir comes from a clay-limestone terroir. The vines are planted mid-slope and their roots are very deep.

For a good ground structure, the soil is worked in alternation: one row is ploughed, the next is grassed.

Pairing

This Pinot-Noir vinified as a “red” wine goes wonderfully with game, red meats and cheese.

Service

Ageing

Vinification

The grapes are hand-picked when they are very ripe.
After a long skin maceration, the berries are pressed in a pneumatic press.
The traditional vinification is done in wooden tuns, then the wine is aged for 12 months in Bordeaux barrels.
