Description
The Gewurztraminer Vieilles Vignes, delicate and powerful, comes from our range of traditional Alsatian wines. It allows you to start or end a meal with an extreme note!
Terroir
Coming from a soil very rich in clay and limestone, this wine is the fruit of a thirty year old vine whose roots are very deep. The vine produces a limited quantity of small but very concentrated grapes.
Pairing
The power and finesse allow this wine to start or end a meal with an extreme note. It will also go perfectly with foie gras, “galette des rois” (king’s cake), Asian cuisine and cheese platters, especially if the latter have character (munster, roquefort, etc…).

From 2 to 6 years
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand, then pressed in a pneumatic press. Traditional fermentation under temperature control, tangential filtration.
