Terroir

Planted in a clay-limestone soil, this vine has a very deep rooting, preventing for any problem of drought.

Étoile de Rose should be served well chilled, between 8 and 10 °C.

Ageing

From 2 to 4 years

Vinification

The grapes are picked by hand, then pressed in a pneumatic press. Fermentation under temperature control.
Thanks to a traditional method of vinification, as for the white Alsace wines, we obtain this atypical wine.
