Description
Popla is a non-alcoholic, carbonated wine made from our finest Gewurztraminer grapes.
It is the first non-alcoholic wine produced by the Ruhlmann-Schutz family.
Terroir
The Gewurztraminer plots are located in Dambach-la-Ville and its surroundings, mainly on clay-limestone soils, sometimes granitic.
Pairing
Popla is a superb non-alcoholic alternative to an aperitif. It is the ideal accompaniment to strong cheeses and undoubtedly adds a fruity and enjoyable note to round off a meal.
Cocktail idea: Hugo Spritz with Popla : a dash of elderflower syrup, 1 part sparkling water, 2 parts Popla, a small mint leaf, and you have the perfect mocktail.

Vinification
Gewurztraminer grapes are harvested by hand at full ripeness to ensure unparalleled aromatic richness.
They are pressed whole in a pneumatic press. Fermentation is carried out under controlled temperatures, and the wine is aged on fine lees to preserve the fruit and freshness.
Vacuum distillation or cold distillation allows the alcohol to evaporate at a low temperature (32°C). This high-end process preserves maximum aromas. No aromas are added to Popla. It’s just grapes!
