Terroir

This wine comes from an exceptional terroir, exploited from the 12th century by monks.
Located on a south-facing hillside, it benefits from a unique microclimate.
The soil and subsoil are made up of 500 million year old sediments, forming on the surface a pink earth, decomposition of sandstone and volcanic sediments.

This Grand Cru Muenchberg will amaze you with the most refined dishes. It will be a delight with fish in sauce, as well as starters and refined white meats.

Ageing

From 5 to 15 years

Vinification

The grapes are picked by hand, then pressed in a pneumatic press. Traditional fermentation under temperature control, ageing on thin lees, followed by bottling.
