    Strong attack of blackcurrant and lemongrass. Nice freshness. Very floral, with a dominance of fruity Riesling. At the end, there is a note of vine flowers.

    Manly, present and structured. Beautiful persistence of a powerfull fruitiness, due to the heavy soil, which highlights the characters of lychees and mandarins.

This Riesling old vines from the Blettig hillside combines freshness and fullness, thanks to its clay-limestone terroir and deep roots.

Terroir

This thirty year old vine is planted on 3 platforms on the hillside, facing south-west.
The chalky, silty and clayey soil allows very deep rooting and avoids any problem of drought.
This soil has been chosen to give this Riesling a particular style and brings out the fatness of the wine.

Pairing

This Riesling, long and fruity, goes harmoniously with the most refined dishes.

Vinification

The grapes are picked by hand, then pressed in a pneumatic press. Traditional fermentation under temperature control.
